Meet Our Instructors

  Amber Prince, NASM-CPT, CES, WLS, PES

 Amber is a corrective exercise and strength and conditioning specialist. She has been coaching and training a variety of individuals and athletes for over 15 years.  Her approach to training is comprehensive and client-based with a focus on meeting goals by building a strong movement foundation. Her passion is helping people live active and healthy lifestyles without pain. As the owner of Ascension, awife, and mother of two children she knows the difficulty of balancing a healthy lifestyle in today's fast-paced and busy environment.

April Ropes (500 E-RYT) 

April completed her 200-hour teacher training at the Prannothan School of Yoga with Devarshi Steven Hartman and her advanced Yoga Teacher Training (YTT-300) at Metrowest Yoga. She is a trained Reiki Master and Reiki Master Teacher. As a busy mother of two children (and a dog), a part time graphic designer, and a marathon runner, she believes that yoga and Reiki have helped to keep her grounded and true to self. 

 

Chris Trombetta, Yoga Instructor (RYT-200)

Chris has been practicing yoga consistently for about ten years. She completed her RYT-200 at Elements3 Yoga in Framingham. Chris has always enjoyed yoga as a physical and spiritual workout and a way to find more patience and peace off the mat. Chris is a mom to two young children and works for her family business. She enjoys spending time in nature and knitting. In Chris's flow yoga classes you will find a mindful mix of strengthening and stretching with an emphasis on listening to one's own body.

Denice Miller, Yoga Instructor (RYT-200)

Denice is a Kripalu yoga instructor and has been studying for over 10 years. She believes that yoga is for every body and encourages the use of props and modifications, creating a unique experience for each student. Thriving on variety, each class contains new music, creative play on poses and the space for each person to find their own potential and path of practice. 

 

Kathy Hirsh, Yoga Instructor (RYT-200)

Kathy has been YogaFit certified since 2006.  She specializes in helping athletes, through yoga, reach their fullest potential. Kathy enjoys teaching classes that provide body adjustments to encourage more depth throughout the poses and improved body alignment.

 

Kimberly Manning, Yoga Instructor (RYT-200, YACEP)

Kimberly was a 10-year veteran group fitness instructor when she discovered yoga in 2000 unexpectedly when she was invited by a client and was immediately intrigued.  She completed her training through Focal Point Yoga of Stow in 2002.  Kimberly encourages you to find contentment, balance, and peace in class with suggestion of breath and calm intention.  You will move you through a series of challenges and sensations in poses that build strength, balance and flexibility.  She looks forward to sharing a practice with you!

 

Linda Dussinger, Yoga Instructor (RYT-200)

Linda has always had a deep love for movement & fitness and her love affair with yoga began many years ago. She was pleasantly amazed with the connection of mind & body. Over time, her passion for the practice grew & so did her desire to share. It was in 2015 she made the decision to become a teacher and obtained her certification at Coreworks Institute in Florida. Since then, Linda has been guiding practices at various venues & looks forward to the yoga journey ahead! 

 

Randy Hicks, Meditation Guide

Shortly after graduating from high school Randy earned a black belt in Kenpo Karate and managed a karate school right here in Marlborough, where his interest in Eastern philosophy and meditation first took root.  Randy leads our weekly community meditation class.  Over the years he has had the honor and privilege of sitting in meditation with some of the best known meditation teachers in the west, including Thich Nhat Hahn, Tara Brach, Jack Kornfield, and many others.
